11. Eleven.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10… 11.
No matter how I type it, it seems weird.
A Better Lemonade Stand recently marked its 11th anniversary.
Back on September 11th, 2012, I took the plunge and registered abetterlemonadestand.com. That very night, at precisely 10:33pm, I crafted and saved the first logo for the brand (featured above).
It's remarkable to reflect on how seemingly minor decisions, like registering a domain, can ripple into transformative life-changing events.
Here's to another 11 years!

In my previous email, I highlighted beehiiv, the email newsletter platform, emphasizing its potential for creators and entrepreneurs to nurture their community.
I also mentioned beehiiv's acquisition of Swapstack, a pioneer in the newsletter ad space.
But there's more to Swapstack's story that I just learned.
Swapstack’s journey is a masterclass in what I am trying to share with all of you each week. So I think it’s worth highlighting their journey.
Swapstack’s initial setup was simple, based on a Carrd landing page with Airtable list integrations for contact management and a dedicated Slack channel for coordinating with newsletter authors.
Side Note: I've been a fan of Carrd for the past 5 years, often recommending it on A Better Lemonade Stand for its user-friendly design, captivating templates, and affordability. Diving deeper, Carrd stands out as an exemplary no-code website builder, masterfully developed by a solopreneur, AJ.
Bolstered by positive reactions from their initial users, the Swapstack team recognized the platform's potential and chose to launch a second version, this time powered by the nocode app-building tool Bubble.
Finally, as you’re already aware, Swapstack was acquired and joined beehiiv last week.

Newsletters like Morning Brew and The Hustle thrive because they foster a sense of community and interaction, contrasting with traditional media's one-way content push.
Research shows that reader engagement in content creation enhances their view of publications and increases subscriptions. However, most newsletters remain largely non-interactive.
One notable exception I recently came across is Mr. Beast Feastables.
Using Spellbound, they've integrated interactive games within their emails.
The outcome?
Their interactive emails generated a 14% CTR. Making interactive content a game-changer for their community, email deliverability, and sales, as highlighted by their Director of Retentions, Joseph Siegel.
